Prayer Shawl

“Let the beauty of the Lord our God be upon us, and establish the work of our hands for us, yes, establish the work of our hands.” Psalm 90:17

This wonderful ministry of helps consists of women who use their gifts and talents to bring hope and comfort to those in need and also to those celebrating new life. At our monthly meetings, we knit and crochet shawls as we pray for those who will receive them. We provide shawls for many purposes; to console those that are hospitalized, newly widowed, grieving, as well as military families through Operation Soldier Care, and missionaries abroad. We also provide blankets for new babies and several outreach programs in our community.

Our meetings are on the third Fridays of the month at 10:00 am in AD 145 (in the Administration Building's large conference room). If you would like to request a prayer shawl or would like more information, contact Brenda Hein at (239) 495-9272.
